As for investigative skills, well you don't have to be a genius to work out that governments are using "green taxes" as a way of controlling the masses. People get the opportunity to fly to foreign countries cheaply, and what happens? Governments find a convenient way to try and prevent it. Now why do I seem to be the only one who isn't surprised about this? Perhaps it's others that need to brush up their "investigative skills".

Stopping using it or rather selling it wholesale had dramatic effects on the companies supplying it.

If we were restricting the use of fuel oils by personal action or by government legislation, it would have a drastic effect on economies. Majority of Middle East countries would lose their main source of income, so no funding for terrorists, their hold on the western economies would be broken not a bad thing really.
Big oil company shares would go belly up. That would impact every economy
Now that’s what would happen if we just suddenly stopped using oil which wont happen but what we have to consider is not if GW is a theory or not we have to accept its real and do something about it.
Give economies alternatives to using Fuel oils, there will be winners and losers.
In the end we can’t just fiddle like Alan and carp on hoping nothing will happen.
Cheap flights, cheap trainers, cheap petrol, they are all just a misdirection. Trying to make us believe that if things continue and we don’t do anything then our inconvenient future will turn out to be a mirage.

I believe on the evidence presented and researched that we don’t have that option; it’s the option for self interest of indifference to the future of our children and theirs. I don’t know if Alan cares what comes after him but I know I do. Large petrochemical companies couldn’t care less all they are interested in is their position and the share price. You see that’s exactly what the supporters of the Petrochemical industry did with the Evidence on GW both statements believable by both sides, sow the seeds of doubt. Alan can complain all he likes his words were changed, that’s not what he said. No matter what evidence comes up now there are going to be those who believe one of the above and not the other. Even though they know it’s been changed.
Which is essentially what’s happened to Alan, He believes its only a Theory as he has stated before, even though he knows, and its a fact of public record that those in favor of his point of view have blatantly lied changed reports paid people to produce information in a believable way and knowingly falsified others work and reports. The argument for GW and its effects are there for all to see, there is no fabrication, the ice is melting, the weather is becoming worse, and the temperature is climbing. It is changing the world we live in, Islands are going underwater, and millions are already experiencing shortages and hunger, just because we can’t see all of it doesn’t mean it’s not happening. if we can see a change like this in just our short lives what will our children experience. Even without the millions of pages of evidence all we have to do is open our eyes and ears to know that things are going badly wrong.
It is left to us all to decide what we should do and support. If we want to make a difference in this world it’s up to us all, its time to choose.
